Forests Forever is a dedicated volunteer organization that evolved from the Volunteer Ecological Guards of Modena, Italy. Its core mission is to protect and preserve forests, woodlands, and biodiversity, striving to maintain the planet’s delicate balance and improve human life quality. The organization actively engages in various projects aimed at the recovery and conservation of forested areas, along with the creation and maintenance of protected zones. It also leads efforts to safeguard and restore crucial regions vital for the survival of endangered plant and animal species, as identified by the IUCN lists. Additionally, Forests Forever champions campaigns and activities that promote the voluntary implementation of the Kyoto agreements. These initiatives include reducing and/or offsetting greenhouse gas emissions, backed by the issuance of environmental service certificates (CSAs) from conservation and/or reforestation projects.
